Brown Heart with flower Silver Pendant
Another piece of Jersey's history encased in sterling silver. This large pendant has a piece of pottery found in one of Jersey's beautiful beaches. It may have come from a bit of old crockery from one of the castles (later dumped into the sea) or it may be part of the cargo on a ship returning from China full of tea, as they used pottery as ballast on the ships. This is a rare colour, probably only 10% of what I find is in this colour range.
It has a 'twiggy' texture around the bezel and is textured at the back. Both the pendant and the chain have been oxidised to compliment the pattern on the pottery shard. This pendant is sold with the chain.
