Fossil Palm Pendant with bubbles
The first time I saw this stone, I was trapped by its delicate lacey pattern and contrast in colours, that delicate array of beige hues and the jet black, the network of fine roots that kept this palm alive thousands of years ago. It is in the shape of a teardrop and I have set it in a piece of silver textured with a pattern from an old piece of handmade lace I bought in a street market in Brugges about 20 years ago. I have pierced tiny little holes around as the cross section of those fine roots. HAndmade from scratch in sterling silver.
