Turquoise pendant with staples
I bought this chunky polished turquoise many years ago in a tiny shop in Madrid. The shop was actually an art gallery with the most amaizing paintings by spanish artists from the 70's. But the little old man, an artist himself, also loved minerals and semi precious stones and had a few boxes for sale. This turquoise caught my eye from the other side of the room, its colour is mesmerizing.
I wanted a setting that was safe and robust, yet visually light and understated. I could have used the prongs on both sides, but that would make it typical. So I didn't clip the wires on the other side; they merge into each other forming a cross. So it can be worn either way.
All handmade, one of a kind.
