Pair of cufflinks of indian elephants, carved by me and then made with silver PMC.
For those of you that do not know, PMC is a clay that has pure silver particles bound by an organic compound. The clay is moulded and shaped as normal clay, allowed to dry, and then fired until the binder burns. After cooling, a solid piece of fine (pure) silver remains, in this case in the shape of an elephant. This then gets more work done to refine it, a cufflink peg is soldered on the back, the whole piece is hand polished and... Voila!.. a solid silver elephant cufflink is born.
